Join a weekend to retreat from daily life and to re-connect to your own being with gentle yoga classes, healthy food, enough sleep. A deeply nourishing time for body and mind, in the midst of nature. The perfect setting for you to relax, recharge and reconnect.

Historical farm in the middle of nature reserve ‘Egheria‘, in ‘Twente’; the east of the Netherlands. Nature at your doorstep!

Why a retreat? To commit to yourself!
Giving yourself time is a valuable gift. You can only really love and connect with others, if you love and connect with yourself. We all intuitively know this. And yet it’s so hard to consciously make time for ourselves, because: daily life. Daily life revolves around you doing things, and it constantly requires your attention. Family-members, colleagues, clients, friends, pets, tasks, to-do lists, expectations, plans, dreams, responsibilities… you know the drill. All humans, everywhere know the drill: the concept of ‘retreating’ is ancient. Staying at a place where food, lodging and restorative techniques such as yoga and mediation are offered, so you have all the time to rest to re-connect with yourself. It’s recommended to take a retreat at least once a year, to help you to live your daily life with a sense of loving self-connection. Good for you, and for the world around you.

Amanda Beugeling
I love to create moments where people can connect back to themselves. With the right ingredients, a retreat offers exactly that. Therefore I pick a professional team that makes you feel safe and welcomed, deeply nourishing yoga-classes, a location in the middle of nature, and lodging that’s clean, calm and yet has a warm personal ambiance to it.

Isolde de Jong
The retreat will assisted by Isolde de Jong. She studies Applied Psychology at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, direction Healthcare and Well-being. Her degrees in ‘Holistic nutrition’ and ‘Herbal Medicine’ reveal her interest in the natural world. You could say that she cares deeply about Plants & People. Suits well with a retreat in the forest, right? Isolde also has an open-minded and warm vibe, so you’ll instantly feel at home around her.

It was fantastic and definitely recommendable! Amanda’s programmes are original, restorative, informative, loving&warm.

Location is called “Oerboerderij Erve Middelkamp” and located in “de Lutte”, in the east of The Netherlands. Because of its location in the middle of nature, there is no public transport to the farm. Let me know if you wish to offer or join a car ride, so we can coordinate shared rides.

De Spring Yoga Retreat heeft mij meer gebracht dan dat ik in eerste instantie dacht. Wat begon als een weekend helemaal voor mezelf ontwikkelde zich in ruimte in mijn hoofd, nieuwe technieken bijgeleerd die ik in mijn dagelijkse leven kan integreren voor meer rust.

Ik vond het heerlijk dat ik het hele weekend 100% mezelf kon zijn en kon luisteren waar ik behoefte aan had en niet hoefde te denken aan anderen. De sfeer in de groep was erg fijn en hoewel we allemaal verschillende persoonlijkheden en achtergronden hebben was er ruimte om ieders verhaal aan te horen en te delen. Daarnaast werden we in de watten gelegd met het verrukkelijke veganistische eten van Celine en Bodine en de fijne Yoga lessen van Amanda. Er was genoeg tijd om je eigen tijd in te vullen door een wandeling te maken, te lezen, slapen of te kletsen met andere deelnemers.

In de toekomst zou ik zeker weten weer een Yoga Weekend willen doen omdat het me meer dan goed heeft gedaan en ik door deze ervaring meer voor mezelf durf en wil kiezen.
